Sharks vs. Oilers

An enthusiastic group of Canadians started the night out at The Brit downtown, followed by an an exciting game against the Oilers. For the native Edmontonians, it was a disappointing 3-2 loss to the struggling Sharks. A fun time was had by all before and during the game!
Canadian Heritage Night
Sharks vs. Canucks

Once again, we held an amazing Canadian Heritage night with the Sharks hosting the Vancouver Canucks. About 200 Canadians enjoyed Augies Montreal style smoked meat dinners, and Molson Canadian before the game. Consul-General Rana Sarkar dropped the puck for the ceremonial first faceoff. The game itself was a bit of blowout by the Canucks, but everyone had a great time. Thanks to Marc-Edourd Vlasic and Mario Ferraro for joining us for the post-game picture.
Thanksgiving

We returned to the UC Berkeley Alumni club for our annual Canadian Thanksgiving celebration. It was once again a wonderful, with delicious turkey dinner, and a surprise dessert of Nanaimo bars. A big shout out and thanks to our sponsors at Air Canada, and BC Trade.
Terry Fox Run

For the first time in the Bay area, we gathered for the Terry Fox Run, honouring the Canadian legend Terry Fox. It was a beautiful day on the shores on the South Bay, and runners, walkers, and strollers enjoyed the fun and fund-raising time. A huge thanks to the staff at the Four Seasons hotel in Palo Alto who organized the wonderful event.
Canada Day Picnic

Our signature event was once again held in Huddart Park. Hundred of Canadians joined together for fun, games, great food, drinks and Kona Ice to celebrate Canada Day. Our consul general, Rana Sarkar kicked off of the festivities which included tug-of-war, soccer, cornhole and arts & crafts for the young ones. A huge thanks to the organizers, volunteers and sponsors who helped make this a fun event for all to enjoy.
